Meet the Founders

From a young age, we have always adored the elegance and artistry of intricate gold jewellery. We believe that the right piece can mark significant life events, elevate your confidence and serve as a personal emblem. Yet, despite jewellery being one of the most intimate possessions, many pieces are indistinguishable from countless others.
Our backgrounds in chemical and environmental engineering shed light on the darker side of the precious metals supply chain, from worker exploitation to dangerous extraction methods.
This inspired us to merge our creativity and technical expertise to establish Incador - a brand dedicated to sophisticated, bespoke jewellery. Our pieces are crafted from 100% responsibly sourced gold, reflecting our values and integrity, ensuring each creation is as unique and refined as you are.

Incador, translates to ‘civilisation of gold’ and nods to its origin. ‘Inca’ references the ancient Inca civilisation of Peru, while ‘or’ means ‘gold’ in French.
Bound By Purpose
-
Gold Extraction
We partner with cutting-edge companies to recover precious metals from e-waste using eco-friendly processes such as bioleaching and hydrometallurgy. The gold is then incorporated into our jewellery, fostering circularity.
-
Responsible Gold
One of our gold channels is sourced from formalised artisanal mining operations in Peru, ensuring regulated practices and ethical labour conditions. This is embodied in our name, Incador, which honours the region’s rich cultural heritage.
-
Community Fund
With the ASM gold, every kilogram of gold we purchase, a premium of £150 - £400 is reinvested in community projects. This supports health, education, economic and environmental initiatives in artisanal mining communities.
